Overview

Expertise Booking includes powerful filtering tools to ensure you only meet with qualified prospects. Prevent spam bookings, block unwanted contacts, and require business emails automatically.

Business Email Filtering

What It Does

Requires visitors to use a business email address (blocks free providers like Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.)

When to Use It

  • B2B Sales: Only meet with business prospects
  • Enterprise Sales: Ensure you're speaking with company representatives
  • Professional Services: Filter out non-business inquiries
  • Reduce Spam: Free emails are more likely to be spam

How to Enable

  1. Go to Booking Links
  1. Edit an existing link or create a new one
  1. Click More Options
  1. Enable Require Business Email
  1. Save
Blocked Email Providers:
  • Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook personal, AOL, iCloud, Proton, GMX, Yandex, Mail.com, Zoho
Allowed:
  • Academic emails (@.edu, @.ac.uk)
  • Government emails (@.gov, @.mil)

What Visitors See

If someone tries to book with a free email:
Error: This event requires a business email. Please use your work email address.

Email & Domain Blocklist

What It Does

Block specific email addresses or entire domains from booking meetings with you.

When to Use It

  • Block Competitors: Prevent competitive intelligence gathering
  • Stop Spam: Block known spam email addresses
  • Block Domains: Block entire companies or domains
  • Past No-Shows: Block people who repeatedly don't show up

How to Add to Blocklist

  1. Navigate to Blocklist
  1. Click Add Email or Domain
  1. Enter one of:
  1. Click Add
Blocklist Limits:
  • Free Plan: Block up to 2 emails or domains
  • Pro Plan: Unlimited blocking

What Visitors See

If someone tries to book and they're blocked:
Error: You are blocked from booking this event.

Additional Guest Filtering

What It Does

Allow primary guests to add additional attendees to the meeting.

How It Works

  • Primary guest enters their email
  • They can optionally add additional guest emails
  • All guests receive calendar invites
  • Business email filter applies to all guests (if enabled)
  • Blocklist applies to all guests (if enabled)

How to Enable

  1. Edit a booking link
  1. Click More Options
  1. Enable Allow Additional Guests
  1. Save
Validation: If any additional guest fails business email check or is blocked, the entire booking is rejected.

Combining Filters

You can use both filters together for maximum protection:
  1. Business Email Filter: Blocks all free emails
  1. Blocklist: Blocks specific business emails/domains
Example:
Require Business Email: Enabled Blocklist: @competitor-a.com, @competitor-b.com, spam@company.com
Result:
  • Gmail/Yahoo blocked (business email filter)
  • Competitor companies blocked (domain blocklist)
  • Specific spam address blocked (email blocklist)
