Hi, this is Tommy. In this video, I’ll show you how to connect your Expertise AI agent with HubSpot Live Chat and route live chat messages to different HubSpot inboxes.

First, log in to your dashboard and go to the Integrations page. Click Connect to HubSpot.

You’ll be asked whether you plan to use HubSpot Live Chat. Select Yes.
There are specific account requirements if you want to use HubSpot Live Chat, so make sure your HubSpot plan supports it.

Click Connect, then choose the HubSpot account you want to link.
Once connected, you’ll see that your HubSpot integration is active.

Next, click Configure under the Live Chat settings.
Here, you can choose which HubSpot inbox will receive messages from your AI live chat.

In this example, my HubSpot account has two inboxes. These are automatically pulled from HubSpot, and I can select whichever inbox I want messages to go to.

Let’s choose the first inbox and click Save Configuration.
Now we’ll go to Playbook. I already have a live chat playbook set up.

Here, I’m using a trigger like “Talk to human.”

When the conversation runs and the trigger is hit, the message is sent to the selected HubSpot inbox.
You can see it arriving in the default inbox named Inbox.

Now let’s test routing to the other inbox.
Go back to Configuration, select the second inbox, and Save.
Then return to the playbook, refresh, and start a new conversation.

Trigger the same condition again — for example, “Talk to human.”
This time, you can see the message is delivered to the second (test) inbox instead.

And that’s it. You’ve successfully connected your Expertise AI agent to HubSpot Live Chat and configured which HubSpot inbox receives your live chat messages.
